Sinpromi has awarded a residential building for building 28 accessible apartments in Tejina, of the Municipal Housing Company of La Laguna (Muvisa). The project was launched by the architects Raquel Guanche, José Izquierdo and Félix Perera.
The ceremony of the handover of the award attended Cristina Valido, the fifth vice-president and Social Action minister, Fernando Clavijo, the mayor of La Laguna, the minister of Sinpromi, Carmen Rosa García Montenegro and councilman Juan Antonio Alonso.
The council honored, with a special reference, the 28 disabled accessible apartments in Tejina of the Sociedad Municipal de Viviendas of La Laguna (Muvisa) with the 5th Accessible Architecture Awards, which acknowledges accomplishments of successful and integrated structures into society.
The Complejo Deportive El Mayorazgo (La Orotava), de Ama, Arquitectura y Medio Ambiente won again the prize in the category of finished works. The award for the finished urbanism architecture went to the public place in Llano del Camello (San Miguel de Abona) by José Ramón Rodríguez Hernández and Óliver Polegre Martín. Marta Rodríguez Cuenda received the award for her excellent dissertation about the work of the Discoteca de Alto Standing Morpheo Lounge.
