The Tenerife Island Authority or Cabildo, via Sinpromi, and the Arona Local Authority have received Aenor's Universal Accessibility Certification for Las Vistas beach, in Arona, which is now the fifth beach to obtain this mark of distinction in Spain.
Since 1995, the Tenerife Cabildo has carried out actions to improve the Arona coastline, with the purpose of improving accessibility and raising quality, by allowing everybody to gain access to and make use of the facilities. These actions have made the borough of Arona the most outstanding accessible holiday destination on the island of Tenerife.
